Re-inventing Eddie, Tuesday 16 March, 8.30pm, IMAX Cinema
An innocent remark from his child leads to loving father Eddie being investigated by social services and forced to exile himself from his family. A tricky subject dealt sensitively with love and humour in this gentle comedy drama.

John Lynch and John Thomson
We will be joined by actors John Lynch and John Thomson (star of The Fast Show and Cold Feet) plus director Jim Doyle and writer Ian Brady, who will introduce the film and participate in a Q&A after the screening.
 

Married/Unmarried, Tuesday 16 March, 5.45pm, Cubby Broccoli Cinema
Two couples sleep with each other, fall out, make up and generally tear each other to shreds in this blistering insight into 21st century relationships.

We hope to be joined by director Noli who will introduce the film.

BFF04 Opening Night Gala

World renowned film director and chairman of the BFI Anthony Minghella (centre) presents the Bradford Film festival lifetime achievement award to Ian Carmichael OBE (left) and the inaugural Bafta North Crystal Mask to screenwriter Simon Beaufoy (right).

The inaugural Bafta North Crystal Mask award is given for technical innovation for The Full Monty scriptwriter's 2002 film This is Not a Love Song, which was the first movie to be delivered via the internet.

The screening of Capturing the Friedmans tonight at 6.00pm has been cancelled due to the courier losing half of the film. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

The film will be in the May programme and will be screened from 7-13 May.

All you have to do is inform the Museum Box Office staff when you book your film tickets and they will give you a promotional voucher. This voucher can then be redeemed at the participating restaurant, where you can indulge yourself in the wide array of delights on the menu!

Cancellations


We are sorry to announce that the screenings of Cuba Libre showing on 26 and 27 March have been cancelled. The director was unable to bring the print due to a change in itinerary. A replacement film will be announced shortly.
