Tuesday 25th March, Cubby Broccoli Cinema, 7.45pm

Sheffield-based In the Nursery - aka sibling writing team Klive and Nigel Humberstone - has composed a number of highly regarded film scores, most notably the American production An Ambush of Ghosts and in recent years created new soundtracks for classic silent films, including The Man with the Movie Camera, seen at Bradford Film Festival in 1999.

The brothers also have a renowned back catalogue of albums with a worldwide fan base. Their music has been used on numerous film soundtracks and trailers including Interview with the Vampire, The Sweet Hereafter, The Rainmaker, Erin Brockovich, Random Hearts and Along Came a Spider, as well as television productions for the BBC, European and US television companies. Their work has also been featured in the hit US television series La Femme Nikita. In this masterclass they will talk about their work and introduce the ideas of composing for film.
