Masterclasses

Each year Bradford Film Festival invites movie veterans to share their knowledge of the industry with students, fellow professionals and aficionados. Past masters include Oscar-winning sound recordist Peter Handford, legendary lighting cameramen Jack Cardiff and Freddie Francis, editor Tom (Deliverance) Priestley and producer Steve (A Fish Called Wanda) Abbott.

BFF2003 continues the tradition this year with a trio of experts whose collective knowledge totals almost 100 years in film: British director Michael (Il Postino) Radford, Oscar-winning Blade Runner producer Michael Deeley, and acclaimed cinematographer Gerry Fisher whose disparate credits include films for Sidney Lumet, John Huston, Joseph Losey and John Frankenheimer.
